BMS Round 3 Finals – Amos The Transparent

This past Thursday I headed out to catch the Round 3 Finals of this years Big Money Shot competition with my camera in tow. It was a good evening of entertainment. Because it was a Thursday night, the schedule was bumped ahead a bit from the typical time slots. Unaware of this I ended up missing the first band. I wasn’t able to stick around for the decision at the end of the night, but I was pretty confident I knew who the winner would be. Amos The Transparent put on a good show, and was deserving of the decision.

The band started off their set walking in from the back of the club, singing at the top of their lungs and playing a couple of acoustic guitars. They definitely caught the crowd by surprise. They paused at the front of the stage to finish their tune, before taking the stage to deliver their energetic set. Take a peek at some of the action below.

Photos of some of the other bands also competing that night will be up soon.

  1. Great work Scott. I love the pictures. Next time you are shooting a show I would like to come along if you don’t mind some compagny….
Keep up the good work. This morning I am shooting a cyclecross race and this afternoon dansers in a studio with Andrew Balflour.

    Take care
